Someone said to me that those who were on the pier last 5th October have got away with it. I seriously don't believe this for a second. I reckon they are suffering what we all suffer when we don't process our conflicts.
Another response to "they've got away with it" is that "No, Hastings & St Leonards communities simply haven't yet agreed a plan of action about how to get the justice they want."
Join in that process here, via the blog http://hastingsjustice.blogspot.com, at www.peoplesjustice.org.uk and/or via the Hastings Justice Facebook page.
This blog makes a stand for openness and accountability, eg with the Hastings Pier Fire Justice Fiasco. The potential community justice Phoenix has not yet arisen. "We need to act if we want justice" was the first piece on this theme published in the Hastings Observer (2011). In 2014 the blog author is now working closely with people who know the arrestees.

They have only 'got away with it' if they are happy with what they did, have no remorse about the pain and hurt they have caused thousands of people and are happy to continue to feel 'invisible', lost and frustrated about their lives.
Personally, I am going to give them the benefit of the doubt and say that this is not the case and that by doing what they have done they now realise how wrong they were and want to make amends.
If I am wrong then yes, they have 'got away with it' but they won't always be so lucky and a life of nothingness and prison surely awaits them, sadly...
What a waste. You are BOTH worth so much MORE and that comes from a guy who CRIED when my pier died...
